Author’s comment is not a joke.

  2. Eske Rahn says:

So we are back to the discussion on
    Most Zionists are Jews
Most Jews are Semites (if you accept that racial term)
But anti-Zionism is NOT the same as being anti-Semitic.

It would be like equalling anti-Nazi with anti-European.

  4. mcalex says:

This has always confused me. Aren’t ‘Semites’ descendants of Shem? And doesn’t that cover basically the entire middle east?

  5. paradoctor says:

Let’s retire the term ‘anti-Semite’. If you accept 19th-century racial pseudo-science, then it mean opposition to Arabs too. Instead let’s use the more precise and accurate term ‘Jew-hatred’, or ‘Judeophobia’, to echo ‘Islamophobia’.

MarkyWarky: a textbook example of a proofreading test.
‘Paris in the / the Spring’ er, springs to mind.

  7. M27Holts says:

    Roundheadophobia?

  8. usmagrad87 says:

Some of the most extremist Zionists are Christian Zionists. Believing that the restoration of Isreal plays a crucial role in the end times. The British history of support for Israel goes back to Christian Zionists like David Lloyd Geroge and Author Balfour. https://blogs.timesofisrael.com/britain-zionism-and-the-creation-of-israel/

  9. MrGronk says:

Ah, the logic of the global intifada – the notion that if jews find the idea of a harrassment-free space attractive, then it’s fine to harrass them till they change their minds.
